Terms of Business & Privacy Policy



We accept enquiries by telephone, email or personal customer visits to our workshop from private individuals, selected interior designers, architects and builders. Under normal circumstances I aim to reply within 24 hours to your enquiry, but some quotations will take 4 - 10 days depending on how involved your project requirements are. Quotations that follow, will be issued by email or during face to face meetings that follow. I should advise that Robert Ball is a sole trader, and will handle all aspects of your project on a personal basis, however from time to time, subject to pressure of work, and contracts , I will , use local recommended sub contract labour to complete a project, only after agreement with you.

If appropriate, I will be happy to make an appointment to meet at your home to discuss your requirements, offer any advice and assistance. Quotations are issued free of charge and without obligation. Full information about your project is required as well as access to your location for accurate measurements.

In order to proceed with your work, we can issue a pro forma invoice for a 50% deposit, or discuss stage payments and final account settlement terms based on your project time scale, size and order to delivery terms. We accept payments by online banking BACS, direct bank transfer, cheque or cash. We do not accept credit or debit cards at this present time.

At this present time, there is no VAT charged on our work.

Once we receive a confirmed order our company standard terms of business letter will be either handed to you, posted or emailed. I will require your signature and acceptance of these terms before we proceed. I will negotiate this with you.

When we have received your payment, you will receive a receipted account and any information as appropriate about insurance backed guarantees. Our confirmation letter will also act as our company guarantee and information about the long term maintenance and care of your bespoke joinery to ensure longevity and efficiency once the installation is completed.

We may occasionally make changes to this privacy policy in accordance with advice on any legislation we receive by our professional advisers. In addition to any circumstances described below, we may share any data we collect, if we are required to share the data with legal authorities to fulfil our obligations under law in England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands.

When submitting a form on this website, the submitted data is sent to us. We use this data to contact you in relation to your enquiry. Access to data we collect is limited to myself or any members of my team who need this information to perform their duties.

Consumer Rights Act 2015

We allow a 14 day cooling off period once a deposit has been paid.
